a mashup of two powerhouse directors whose works are comprised of equal parts breathtaking scenes, indelible iconic imagery, and balletic visceral violence. pretty fuckin badass. also, from the site where this came from, this quote about the first musical selection: “Dropkick Murphys should have more songs where that guy doesn’t sing. He sounds like a hobo getting oatmeal shoved up his ass.” much as i disagree with the sentiment, that’s some mighty fine goddamned literary similie-craftin’ goin on right there, folks.
